| Deposit |
A deposit of 25% of the total hire is required to secure your reservation.(Minimum $100.00). Note: Special conditions apply during peak periods.AA Adventure Campervan Hire reserves the right to refuse any rental at its discretion.

| Cancellations |
|
In the event you cancel a reservation with less than 30 days of hire a $100 fee applies. If cancelled with less than 15 days a fee of 25% of the total rental applies.If cancelled with less than 7 days a fee of 50% of the total rental applies. Cancellation on day of pick up or "no show" the full rental is charged. No refunds are available for early returns.

| Rental Payments |
Total rental charges and bond are to be paid prior to the commencement of hire. Payment can be made by cash, bank cheque and major credit cards. Personal cheques are not accepted.Visa and Mastercard will incur a 1.5% surcharge on any transaction and American Express will incur a 4% surcharge.

| Bond |
A security bond up to the maximum applicable insurance excess must be lodged on pickup. No charges are made against the bond provided the vehicle is returned on time, undamaged, clean and refuelled. Any other additional charges such as traffic infringements will be debited against the credit card. A manual imprint of credit card will be taken on pick up.
Note: Special conditions are required for cash bonds.

| Driver Eligibility |
An ordinary drivers licence is required. All drivers must present a current Australian, International or Country of Origin drivers' licence and be over 21 years and under 80 years of age.
Note: Special conditions apply to drivers over 21 and under 25 years of age.

| Insurance |
Included in daily rates. There is a $1500 excess on all claims regardless of cause. Cover does not include damage to windscreen, tyres, overhead and underbody. Options to Reduce Excess - (1) $10.00 per day reduces excess to $1,000.00 (2) $20.00 per day reduces excess to $500.00

| Mechanical & Maintenance |
Vehicles are covered by RACQ (Roadside Assistance).
*Authorisation from our office must be obtained before mechanical repairs are carried out and receipts presented for reimbursement.

| Road Restrictions |
Campervans and motorhomes may only be driven on sealed roads

| Mileage Restrictions |
Hires under 7 days - 300klms per day.
Hires over 7 days - 400klms per day.
Extra kilometer charge - 25 cents per kilometre.

| Hire Period |
Hire is calculated on a 24 hour daily basis. Late Returns - Charge is calculated at 25% of daily rate for each hour beyond
the 24 hour period. Minimum Hire - Group A - 3 days. Group B,C, D & E - 5 days. Off peak only.

| Mechanical Responsibility |
The customer is responsible for checking of all fluids at each refuelling. Refills of all fluids except petrol and diesel will be reimbursed at check-in on presentation of receipts. You are responsible for blowouts, flat and punctured tyres.
Don't get the tube repaired as it will not last - you must get a new tube. Never drive on a flat tyre. Tyre replacement costs will be reimbursed if the manufacturer accepts a warranty claim on the faulty tyre. If you need to replace tyres, please ensure it is the same brand, size and ply rating as the damaged tyre. Recap or remoulded tyres are not acceptable.

| Mechanical Repairs |
In the event of a mechanical failure, AA Adventure Campervan Hire must be notified. All Authorised repairs will be reimbursed in full on presentation of invoices and receipts at completion of hire. Batteries and tyres must be returned for reimbursement to be allowed. Refunds of hire charges due to mechanical failure are restricted to full days without use of vehicle only at the equivalent of the daily hire rate. For your protection we recommend travel insurance.
